The song on the second Songhoy Blues album that featured Iggy Pop now has a fully animated video! Directed by Alden Volney, the animations are loosely based around the cover artwork:
"The video deals with the idea of resistance against cultural imperialism, the concept was to use the artwork of the album - which I thought looked fantastic as a starting point and take it through this saturated psychedelia where the leopard becomes a kind of symbol of defiance against consumerism. In an effort to convey these concepts without them feeling too ham-fisted I wanted to steer away from something that's even remotely narrative; it felt right to go with something that was more relentless, strange, even fever-dream-like at times."
