We are thrilled to announce that two of our Transgressive artists, SOPHIE and Let’s Eat Grandma, have won awards at this year’s AIM Awards.
The Association of Independent Music celebrates the best of indie talent. Now in its eighth year, the AIM Awards have previously honoured a wide array of extraordinary independent artists, labels and industry figures, including Björk, Stormzy, Adele, The Prodigy, London Grammar, Wolf Alice, Christine and The Queens, First Aid Kit, Alt-J, SBTRKT, Daughter, and many more.
This year, our very own Let’s Eat Grandma were awarded with Best Sophomore Release for their incredible second album, I’m All Ears. We also saw the boundary-breaking SOPHIE pick up the Innovator Award, proving just how far she is pushing modern pop music, both sonically and aesthetically.
You can pick up your copy of Let’s Eat Grandma’s I’m All Ears on limited edition yellow vinyl here, and stream SOPHIE’S Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides here. SOPHIE European tour dates have been announced for October, with tickets for the London show on 24 October on sale now (tickets here), while Let’s Eat Grandma return from their US tour to play a small selection of UK and EU dates over Autumn (tickets here).
