Pulled Apart By Horses are back with a brand new single

Transgressive Records are thrilled to announce the return of Pulled Apart By Horses to deliver the official anthem of our 15 Year Anniversary! Listen to Is This Thing On? here.

Is This Thing On? is a bracing shot of stripped-back garage rock from one of the UK’s best-loved modern rock bands. Recorded at The Nave in Leeds & mixed by James Mottershead (Slaves/The Magic Gang) it’s a galvanising recording that answers the question as to what The Ramones would sound like if they’d allowed a guitar solo to creep in. Or two.
PABH said "We’ve been working on new material since 2018 and when we heard our spiritual label home Transgressive was celebrating its birthday this year, it seemed rude not to get involved. They are integral to PABH and what we’ve become. Is This Thing On? felt like the perfect track to put out with them and it’s a very fitting preview of what’s to come next from us."
After a thrilling run of DIY singles, Pulled Apart By Horses released their self-titled debut on Transgressive in 2010, bringing their unique noise to the radio airwaves and schlepping across Europe supporting The Bronx, Future Of The Left, Muse, Foals and Biffy Clyro. Their critically acclaimed sophomore Tough Love was produced by the seminal producer Gil Norton (Pixies/Foo Fighters). 2011 saw the band tour headline shows across the world including festival performances at Leeds & Reading and Glastonbury. Building on their early successes, they developed and crafted their sound and evolved as a band to go onto record Blood and The Haze.
The band are have just smashed through the countries smaller venues road-testing new material and will celebrate their own 10th Birthday early next year with Transgressive in style. Bring your own fucking party hats.
