Marika Hackman releases acoustic version of hand solo, calls for help for next video

Following the release of her phenomenal third album Any Human Friend, Marika Hackman has shared the acoustic version of her new single 'hand solo'.

Marika has also invited her fans to share stories of any time they have felt shame associated with female self-pleasure.

She says: "Female self-pleasure is still considered taboo and, with your help, I would like to start a conversation around this in my upcoming video for 'hand solo'.

Have you ever felt a sense of shame associated with masturbation? Please share your experience of this below. Submissions are entirely anonymous (feel free to leave a nickname if you wish), and we welcome stories from all female-identifying people. Your story may be used in the forthcoming video for 'hand solo' and will be shared along with other experiences on my website for other women to read. It will not be used in any other way without your consent." Click here to share your story.

Marika's new album Any Human Friend is out now via AMF Records and on Sub Pop in North and South America.

Marika is touring the UK and US from September - you can see full dates and get tickets here.
