Marika Hackman announces her new album, tour, and video!

Marika Hackman has announced her new album, Any Human Friend, set to be released on August 9th 2019 on AMF / Sub Pop.

Marika describes the album, which she co-produced with David Wrench (The xx, Frank Ocean, Let's Eat Grandma), as ''me diving into myself and peeling back the skin further and further, exposing myself in quite a big way. It can be quite sexual...It’s blunt, but not offensive. It’s mischievous.''

You can preorder the album now, with limited edition bundles including coloured vinyl and cassettes, pig enamel pins, and your own y-fronts just like Marika's!

A run of UK dates has also been announced - you can get access to the presale by preordering the album in any format. Presale begins tomorrow at 10am.

Along with this news, Marika has released the video for her latest single, i'm not where you are. The video sees Marika being slapped by ex-lovers in a brazen ode to being emotionally unavailable.

New UK dates are listed as below - preorder your copy of the album now for presale access!

  • Sep. 21 - Bristol, UK - Thekla
  • Sep. 23  - Glasgow, UK - Oran Mor
