With Mutual Benefit's Thunder Follows The Light out for a little while now, we hope you've been enjoying delving into it! There is now a video for the song Come To Pass to share with you directed by Gabriel Gomez:
"I wanted to honour both the song's sonic aesthetics and message. When Jordan and I spoke about the lyrics and the overall narrative, we discussed the notion of relying on the past for answers about the future. History obviously holds wisdom, but it can also act as a tethering for progress. Ultimately, sometimes it's just as important to let go. I wanted to take those ideas and turn them into a simple, visually-satisfying story featuring a person actively trying to free themselves of the past. And a very wise dog. There's a lot of really dark shit on our screens these days and I just wanted to make something somewhat whimsical, but with a soulful narrative that everyone can relate to."

Jordan Lee, aka Mutual Benefit, says the following about the song itself:
"Come to Pass is a refutation of the idea that there was ever a golden age to return back to. Both personally and politically I'm afraid of this sort of constructed nostalgia that keeps us looking backwards instead of a having a powerful enough imagination to see the hard truths of the present but work towards a better future."
Thunder Follows The Light is out now and available on vinyl, CD and cassette.
"lilting and gentle, so hypnotically rhythmic that it often recalls children’s lullabies."
