Boniface has made a video for ‘Dear Megan’ and announced tour dates with Let’s Eat Grandma

Micah Visser (aka Boniface), and his brother Joey (also in the band), have made a video for their latest song Dear Megan, with Notion giving it a first post earlier on today. It takes heavy influence from VHS tapes that Micah has been hoarding for the past few years...

"It started when I didn’t have Netflix and discovered that they were just 99 cents at the thrift store, but since then I’ve got really attached to them. With this video, Joey and I tried to capture that same simplicity. We drank whisky in a white room and played through the song until it felt like it feels live. I'm so happy with how it turned out, and I hope watching it feels a bit like I do when I watch thrift store VHS tapes."
Micah Visser

"The only direction I had for Micah was to go as hard as he does live. We only filmed a handful of takes. I wanted to keep it natural and off the cuff. What I did with the camera and what he did with his performance wasn't rehearsed. I feel like this method of filming kept the frenetic energy of the song intact and made the video look like how it feels when you hear it live."
Joey Visser

The band will also be back to play a headline show of their own in London on 6 November at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, tickets for that are available via Rockfeedback.
