Blaenavon - Miss World EP Out Now!

Written and recorded in a half-term holiday, ‘Miss World’ showcases Blaenavon as one of the UK’s genuinely special bands and reflects the meticulous intelligence and ambition of these masterful artists. Opener ‘Hell Is My Head’ is a rancid portrayal of mythical love and lust and sees the group fine-tune their penchant for huge melody and an individual attention to the finer details of indie rock. ‘Hell Is My Head’ has become a firm fan favourite and received sweeping support from BBC Radio 1, Beats 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Absolute and Amazing Radio.

‘Destiny’s Mild’ is a tapestry of sounds and ideas seeing singer Ben address fears of being too comfortable in one’s own state of mind. And then there’s ‘Dragon’, a mercilessly intense yet beautiful record and a harbinger of what’s to come from this brilliant band.
