Hot off the release of These Days, his first single of 2019, South London rapper Benny Mails has shared new single Too Many - listen here!
The track was again produced by Benny's frequent collaborator Earbuds (Slowthai, Greentea Peng). Speaking about the track, Benny says: "I wrote Too Many about a generation of disenfranchised personality. I have brute comfortability about my uniqueness as a person, and the song tackles the idea of sheepish behaviour - because whenever I find myself looking for something refreshing, all I see is the same things over and over again. 'I’ve seen, gang turn paigons all in the name of Gucci trainers, and road man turn skaters all in the vain of vans and blazers.'"
Following a previous road-block sold out date at Bermondsey Social Club late last year, Benny will play a headline set at Soho’s Borderline on June 20th. Having already supported Loyle Carner and Yellow Days UK tours, alongside opening for Ghostface Killah & Raekwon and Princess Nokia, the show promises to be unforgettable.
