BBC 6 Music, one of the only stations that will play up and coming acts on independent labels is in danger of being closed along with the also excellent Asian Network. We would implore you to follow the jump and mail the BBC to stop this happening. A station that champions new and diverse music from upcoming music should be an essential part of the BBC's programming and losing it will severly affect our, and other great Indie label's ability to break and support new acts.

31-Jan - Transgressive News - Transgressive at HMV's Next Big Thing Festival - February 2010 - Win Tickets!

The kind folk at HMV have granted Transgressive two nights at their inaugural 'Next Big Thing' event, which takes place at HMV-affiliated venues all across London in the early weeks of February 2010. Both nights sold out upon announcement (thank you, if you managed to get a ticket! Sorry if you didn't! But read on...).

- Transgressive Night 1 features Johnny Flynn (solo), with support from Mechanical Bride, occurring at Barfly on February 10th.

- Transgressive Night 2 features Mystery Jets, Two Door Cinema Club + one other act TBA, also occurring at Barfly, on February 14th (a quality way to spend your Valentine's Day, we feel...).
